Rotary 6510 District Conference

Note from Flora Club President:

I wanted to congratulate Kari on a great year last year, as it was evident at the District Conference.  Two awards were from Rotary International.  The first was a Presidential Citation for efforts to reduced child mortality and make dreams real for the world’s children.  The second was 2008-09 membership goals and recognition award for having achieved a 10% or more in net membership.  These two certificates are signed by D.K. Lee, last years International President.  The other two were District awards.  The first, 2008-09 Governor’s for 3rd place in Membership Service.  The second, 2008-09 Governor’s Award for 2nd place in Membership Growth.  These two were handed out by Mel.  We also received our $1,000 check for the grant and it has been deposited.  So, we need to make arrangements for that $1,500 to be delivered to the food pantry and complete the paperwork the District requires.

Again, congratulations to Kari on a job well done!!!!!
